10 Easy One-Pot Recipes
We’ll be having quite a few meals at home in the coming weeks. This is great news for catching up on Netflix, but not-so-good news for the washing up pile.
So for one less chore to worry about, here are 10 easy, warming meals to dive into, inspired by cuisines around the world and all made in one pot. What’s more, they take 40 minutes or less and need just a few ingredients to make.

If you fancy risotto but can’t face all that stirring, you need this orzo in your life. For a pronto pesto pasta that’s ready in 25 mins and delivers bags of flavour, look no further.
One-Pot Mexican Beef, Rice & Beans – 25 min
A quick and healthy win, courtesy of Italy. This comforting bowlful is made with shredded chicken and crisp spring greens in a steaming broth of pesto, lemon and orzo. Bellissimo!
Easy Lamb Biryani – 20 min
This fragrant 20 minute biryani isn’t just great for busy nights, it’s also mild enough to suit the most spice-sensitive tongues.
Simple One-Pot Puttanesca – 20 min
Trade the sink full of pots for this punchy linguine, using tins and jars from your kitchen cupboard.
Infused with green curry paste and so easy to make, this fragrant Thai-inspired one pot will have you steaming fish atop gorgeously rich coconut rice for a light meal filled with fresh Southeast Asian flavours.
Nothing says comfort quite like casserole, and this one with creamy thyme and garlic sauce is up there with the best of them.
This plant-based option is another great recipe to use up the tins in your cupboard. It’s smoky and wholesome – and if you’re a meat-eater, the rich tomato sauce tastes incredible with pork sausages too.
Soup’s up! This chunky chowder is sure to be a winner at the dinner table. Especially since it’s ready in half an hour, perfect to keep all those hungry mouths happy!
