Terms and Conditions
- The promoter of this prize draw is SCA Investments Limited (trading as Gousto), whose registered address is Unit 1.8 & 1.9, The Shepherds Building Central, Charecroft Way, Hammersmith, London W14 0EE (“Gousto”).
- The title of this prize draw is: Gousto x Joseph Joseph Competition 2024.
- The promotional period for this prize draw begins at 9am on 7 December 2024 (i.e. at the time of the relevant Instagram post where the prize draw is first announced (“The Instagram Post”)) and ends at 00:00 on 16 December 2024 the (“Promotion Period”). Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
- During the Promotion Period, a total of two prizes will be won by one customer (as set out in Clause 10 below). The winner will be selected during a prize draw using a randomised computer process, which will take place on 16 December 2024.
- This prize draw is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over except:a. employees of Gousto or its holding or subsidiary companies;b. anyone who benefits from Gousto’s friends & family discount.
- In addition to Clause 5 above, you will only be eligible to be included in the prize draw if you meet the following criteria:a. You must follow the Instagram accounts @goustocooking and @josephjosephofficial at the time of the prize draw;b. You must have liked The Instagram Post at the time of the prize draw; and
c. You must have commented on The Instagram Post tagging another Instagram account in such a comment.
- The details of each of the prizes are outlined in Clause 10 of these terms and conditions. The person who receives the prizes during the Promotion Period will, subject to complying with these terms and conditions, be able to claim their prizes as outlined in Clause 8 of these terms and conditions below.
- The winner will be contacted by Gousto via Instagram direct message through their official Instagram account (@goustocooking) on 16 December 2024 informing them they have won the prize draw. If you are such a winner, you will be asked if you have an active Gousto account. In the event that you do, you will be asked to share your account name and the discount will automatically be applied to the next twelve Gousto boxes you order from such an account within 24 hours of you confirming your account details. In the event that you are not already signed up to Gousto, you will be provided with a link that must click on to register for a new Gousto account. Once you have completed registration through this link, the aforementioned discount will automatically be applied to the next twelve Gousto boxes you order from such a new account. In respect of the Joseph Joseph credit, a promotional code will be sent to you via Instagram direct message from @goustocooking that you may use on the Joseph Joseph website. In order to use the £250 credit, you must enter the promotional code at checkout when prompted to enter a “Discount code or gift card” each time you make a purchase from Joseph Joseph in order to utilise the credit.
- Each comment on The Instagram Post tagging another Instagram account is equal to a new entry. Each comment on The Instagram Post must tag a different Instagram account in each comment from another comment to be counted as an additional entry. Any comments found to have been posted by the same Instagram account tagging an Instagram account they have tagged in another comment shall be counted as one entry. You may enter the prize draw during the Promotional Period as many times as you may please.
- Prizes: Details of each prize is as follows:a. £250 Joseph Joseph credit – we have 1 of this prize to give away.A promotional code will be sent to the winning Instagram account worth £250 in respect of items purchased from the Joseph Joseph website (including any respective delivery fees) . The credit has no official monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, redeemed, replaced or refunded for proper cash. The terms and conditions of the Joseph Joseph website may apply. You will be sent such promotional code on 16 December 2024. From such a date, you will have 12 months to use your £250 credit before it expires. The £250 credit may be used across multiple transactions until you have utilised the full £250. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or against sale items. Three months of Gousto boxes (12 Gousto boxes up to a value of £59.80 each) – we have 1 of this prize to give away.
Three months of Gousto boxes is equivalent to twelve free Gousto boxes (excluding delivery), up to a value of £59.80 each. Any Gousto credit applied to your account has no official monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, redeemed, replaced or refunded for proper cash. The total cost of each of the twelve Gousto boxes will be discounted at checkout when you are ordering each Gousto box. From the date of applying the prize to your account, you will have 3 months to purchase your twelve Gousto boxes before it expires. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers. You will have 7 days to claim such a prize before your 3 month time period commences automatically. - Gousto will be supplying the prizes set out in Subclauses 10(a) – 10(b), which shall be governed by Gousto’s Terms and Conditions For Sale of Goods.
- Prizes may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
- No responsibility can be taken for entries which are misdirected, lost, delayed, damaged or corrupted during delivery to or from Gousto due to any computer malfunction, virus, bug, delay or other reason whatsoever. Gousto is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information supplied to Gousto in connection with this prize draw.
- To the fullest extent permissible by law, Gousto shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained as a result of participation in the promotion or use of any prize.
- Gousto’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into. By participating in the prize draw, entrants accept these terms and conditions and are bound by all the rules in full.
- Gousto reserves the right at its sole discretion, to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants that it regards as being in breach of these terms and conditions or the spirit of the prize draws.
- Gousto must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Gousto will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails socialteam@gousto.co.uk within one month after the Promotion Period ends. If you object to any or all of your surname or county being made available, please contact Gousto at socialteam@gousto.co.uk. In such circumstances, Gousto must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of Gousto, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, Gousto reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
- By participating in the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Gousto may require you to provide proof that you are eligible. Gousto reserves the right to verify all entries and people and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement or refuse further participation in the promotion where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. Gousto will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Gousto will only process your information as set out in our privacy policy.
- This promotion, and all the prize draws in connection with this promotion, are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
- These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of these terms and conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
