Now, let's get started!

Boil a kettle

Heat a large, wide-based pan (preferably non-stick with a matching lid), with a drizzle of vegetable oil over a high heat

Meanwhile, chop the sugar snap peas in half, roughly

3 10-Min Smoked Fish & Creamy Lemon Spaghetti C

Once the pan is hot, add the roasted garlic pastehalved sugar snap peas and smoked basa with a generous pinch of black pepper and cook, covered, for 3 min on each side

Tip: Your fish is cooked when it turns opaque and flakes easily

4 10-Min Smoked Fish & Creamy Lemon Spaghetti C

Whilst your fish is cooking, add the quick cook spaghetti to a pot of boiled water with a large pinch of salt and bring to the boil over a high heat

Cook the spaghetti for 3-4 min or until cooked with a slight bite, then drain and keep to one side, reserving a cup of the starchy pasta water

5 10-Min Smoked Fish & Creamy Lemon Spaghetti C

Drizzle some olive oil through the spaghetti and give it a good mix up (this stops the pasta from sticking together)

6 10-Min Smoked Fish & Creamy Lemon Spaghetti C

Once the fish is cooked, break it apart into bite-sized pieces with a wooden spoon and add the soft cheese and juice of 1/2 [1] lemon

Cut the remaining lemon into wedges

7 10-Min Smoked Fish & Creamy Lemon Spaghetti

Add the drained spaghetti to the pan and give everything a good mix up - this is your smoked fish & creamy lemon spaghetti

Tip: Add a splash of the reserved starchy cooking water if the pasta is looking a little dry
