Who's cooking?
Our chefs have years of experience and absolutely love what they do. Most have families and know from experience exactly how difficult it is to come up with healthy and creative meals.
Marion, for instance, is a mother of 4 and is an expert when it comes to delicious, healthy meals that don't take too long to make. Emma impressed everyone by her appearance on BBC Masterchef and her focus at Gousto is British cuisine. Karl has 2 Michelin Stars and handles our more complex recipes, helping you to impress your family and friends.
How do we design recipes?
Our menu is well balanced, so you have plenty of choice to pick meals each week. Most recipes can be cooked in 30 minutes, but we have some quicker and longer ones.
To us, a healthy diet means eating varied and balanced food - not missing out on delicious tastes! Everyone can make our recipes and we tell you the difficulty before you choose your meals. We don’t expect you to have ingredients at home, apart from the very basics like salt, pepper and oil. And if there’s something special missing from our menu, just get in touch with our chefs and maybe we’ll name a recipe after you!
How do we source?
We want you to eat well! Where possible, we will always source local and seasonal ingredients; our meat comes from Devon and our fish comes from Scotland. Natural produce is very important to us (we don’t like additives or preservatives) so that’s why the majority of our ingredients are organic.
Our suppliers share our passion for animal welfare and sustainable farming and we don't use animals who are on the WWF protected list.
