Cooking Instructions
Instructions for 2 people (double for 4)
1 Creamy Sausage & Tenderstem Gnocchi

Boil a kettle

Heat a large, wide-based pan (preferably non-stick) with a drizzle of olive oil over a medium heat

Squeeze the sausage meat from their casings into small meatballs directly into the pan (clean hands is the best way!) and cook for 5-6 min, breaking any large bits with a wooden spoon as you go, or until browned all over

Meanwhile, slice the Tenderstem broccoli in half

Trim, then slice the spring onion[s] finely

3 Creamy Sausage & Tenderstem Gnocchi

Dissolve the soft cheese and Dijon mustard in 150ml [250ml] boiled water – this is your creamy stock

4 Creamy Sausage & Tenderstem Gnocchi

Once the sausage meat is brown, add the creamy stock and cook for 3-4 min or until starting to thicken

5 Creamy Sausage & Tenderstem Gnocchi

Meanwhile, add the Tenderstem broccoli to a pot of boiled water with a large pinch of salt and bring to the boil over a high heat

Cook for an initial 1-2 min 

Add the gnocchi to the pot and cook for 2-3 min further or until the gnocchi and broccoli are tender

Once tender, drain and reserve a cup of the starchy cooking water

6 Creamy Sausage & Tenderstem Gnocchi

Once done, add the drained gnocchi and Tenderstem to the pan and give everything a good mix up until coated in the sauce

7 Creamy Sausage & Tenderstem Gnocchi

Add the chopped spring onion and a splash of starchy cooking water if it's looking a little dry

Season with a pinch of salt and pepper – this is your creamy sausage & Tenderstem gnocchi
