Hardly a hot chocolate, this is more of a decadent milky chocolate soup with all the extras, including a glug of Bailey&#8217;s and another or Amaretto for good measure. Best thing about it? No one need know you&#8217;re on the booze, just make sure the kids don&#8217;t get hold of it!<\/p>\n<p><strong>You\u2019ll Need (for 2 servings):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 ml whole milk<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp sugar<\/li>\n<li>100 g bittersweet chocolate, chopped (just under 1 cup measured)<\/li>\n<li>splash of vanilla extract, optional<\/li>\n<li>whipped cream, optional<\/li>\n<li>marshmallows, optional<\/li>\n<li>25ml amaretto<\/li>\n<li>25ml baileys<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Combine<\/strong> milk and sugar in a saucepan and place on a medium heat<\/li>\n<li><strong>Melt<\/strong>\u00a0the broken chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds while the milk is heating. Keep heating and stirring the chocolate every 30 seconds until it has fully melted<\/li>\n<li><strong>Take<\/strong> the milk off the heat when it\u00a0reaches the scalding point (it will be\u00a0bubbling on the side), then\u00a0slowly stir in the melted chocolate<br \/>\nTip: Be careful to ensure you don\u2019t overheat the milk.
