Combining earthy notes of matcha green tea with the sweetness of fresh blueberries, this tasty TikTok trend is a matcha made in heaven.<\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18528\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Blueberry-Iced-Matcha0337Landscape.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"5000\" height=\"4000\" \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Blueberry syrup (makes 4)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>150g blueberries<\/li>\n<li>80g sugar<\/li>\n<li>200ml cold water<\/li>\n<li>1 wedge of lemon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Matcha (makes 2)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 tsp matcha powder<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp hot water (not boiling)<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp honey<\/li>\n<li>250ml milk of your choosing<\/li>\n<li>Lots of ice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. First, make your blueberry syrup. Combine blueberries, sugar and cold water in a small pan and bring it to a boil on medium heat. Once boiling, add a squeeze of lemon juice and simmer for 20 minutes or until syrupy.<\/p>\n<p>2. Blitz the blueberry mixture in a food processor. Top tip: whiz it up for even longer if you like a smoother consistency. Pop the syrup into the fridge until cool.<\/p>\n<p>3. Once your syrup is cool, you can start your matcha latte. Sift the matcha into a container and whisk in hot water until no lumps remain.<\/p>\n<p>4. Add your blueberry syrup to a glass with honey, and follow with ice and milk. Top with your whisked matcha.
