Tabasco Love Truffles<\/strong><\/h2>\nMakes 20 truffles\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\nPrep time<\/strong> 25 minutes<\/p>\nTotal time<\/strong> 35 minutes<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n200g dark chocolate<\/p>\n
120 ml double cream<\/p>\n
1 – 2 tsp Tabasco<\/p>\n
100g icing sugar<\/p>\n
1 – 2 drops of red or pink food colouring<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Step 1 <\/strong>In a medium-sized saucepan add your cream and warm it over low heat.\u00a0 Top tip: <\/b>Warm it up slowly so it doesn\u2019t boil.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Step 2 <\/strong>Break your chocolate into small pieces and add it to the cream with your Tabasco. Stir everything together with a spatula until the chocolate is completely melted.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Step 3 <\/strong>Pour the mixture into a heat-proof bowl and place it in the fridge to firm up.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Step 4 <\/strong>While your truffle mix is chilling in the fridge, it\u2019s time to make your pink icing sugar. In a small bowl, sift in your icing sugar, then add a few drops of food colouring. Mix it together till the colour looks even, it might clump together but keep mixing until it’s back to a powdery consistency.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
Step 5 <\/strong>Time to make your truffles. Roll small scoops of chocolate mixture into 20 even balls. Coat each ball in pink sugar (you can sprinkle it too), put your truffles in a parchment-lined plastic box, and chill in the fridge or somewhere cool.<\/p>\nWhat is Gousto?<\/b><\/h2>\n
