And even better, they only take a couple of minutes to make. Magic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before you start<\/strong><br \/>\nMake sure you use a square piece of paper. Using patterned paper? Start with the plain side up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16276\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Create a triangle by folding the top corner of your square down to the bottom corner.<\/p>\n<p>Top tip: Crease confidently as you go to create crisp fold lines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16278\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/>With the longest part of your triangle at the top, fold in half.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16278\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then, taking both layers, fold in half again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16279\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fold the top two layers back up to the right.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16280\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It should look like this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16281\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/>Next, unfold the paper completely. Reinforce your smaller creases to create valley folds. Not sure what these are? They fold in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16283\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/7.1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/>Pinch the left and right corners of your paper and push them towards the centre. Your shape will start to flatten as the top and bottom corners meet.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16282\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/7..2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Push your folds in together and flatten the front to create a diamond shape.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16284\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/7.5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/>You should end up with a shape a bit like a fox\u2019s face.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16285\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/8-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Take each \u2018ear\u2019 and push them down towards the centre, so that the flaps inside overlap.<\/p>\n<p>The paper should crease along the folds at the centre front and back to create a 3D shape.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16287\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It should look like this inside.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16301\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/9.15.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"900\" \/>Pinch the crease at the centre front and fold it to meet the right hand edge of the star.
