Simply pop the ingredients in, then let the slow cooker work its magic (while you wrap the presents).<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Ingredients (serves 8)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>2 tbsp cocoa<\/li>\n<li>1l milk<\/li>\n<li>397g sweetened condensed milk<\/li>\n<li>200g dark chocolate, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc tsp flaky sea salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Method<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Step 1: Mix together the cocoa with a splash of milk and combine until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Step 2: Pour the rest of the milk,\u00a0 and the condensed milk into your slow cooker and stir until combined.\u00a0 Add the cocoa slurry, chopped chocolate, vanilla and salt.\u00a0 Cover and cook on low for one hour.<\/li>\n<li>Step 3: Remove the lid and whisk the hot chocolate until everything is smooth and combined.\u00a0 Cover and cook for a further hour.<\/li>\n<li>Step 4: Stir the hot chocolate and cook for a final 15 minutes.\u00a0 This is the perfect time to set out any toppings for people to add to their own drinks. Ladle into mugs and serve.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Top topping ideas:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Cream: Whether you whip your own, go retro with a can of the squirty stuff, or decide to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gousto.co.uk\/blog\/pumpkin-latte-pies\">go fancy with something flavoured\u2026<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Marshmallows: No size is the wrong size.
