Now you\u2019re talking.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve never had the pleasure, Barfis are milk-based sweets or <i>mithai<\/i> from India. Traditionally, they\u2019re made at home and shared with loved ones throughout Diwali&#8230;which just so happens to take place in November! See where I\u2019m going with this?<\/p>\n<h2><b>Ingredients (serves 8-10)<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">397g condensed milk<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">150g cashews or ground almonds<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">150g desiccated coconut<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u00bd tsp ground cardamom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Method\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Step 1:<\/b> Line your baking tin with greaseproof paper<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 2<\/b>: If you\u2019re using cashews, add them to a food processor and grind to a fine powder.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 3: <\/b>Add the ground nuts, coconut, cardamom and condensed milk to a medium saucepan and cook for 5-7 minutes \u2014 stirring until thick and smooth<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 4: <\/b>Spread the mix evenly onto your lined baking tray.
