Make it 100% vegan by subbing almond milk for cow\u2019s, and we\u2019re in business.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Ingredients (serves 4)<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">2 thin slices of fresh ginger<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">4 cardamom pods, crushed<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 cinnamon stick<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">2 Star anise<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">2 tsp ground nutmeg<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">550ml almond milk<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">100ml water<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">2 tbsp packed brown sugar<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">120g vegan white chocolate chips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Method (30 mins)<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Step 1:<\/b> Add the ginger, cardamon, cinnamon, star anise, water and 1 tsp nutmeg to your slow cooker.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 2: <\/b>Once the water is bubbling, pour in the sugar and stir until it has dissolved<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 3: <\/b>Turn the slow cooker down to a low setting and add the almond milk.
