And wow, these crunchy little farfalle<\/span> <span>are so delicious and so addictive I can&#8217;t believe I didn\u2019t give them a go sooner. We\u2019ve used one of my favourite pasta sauces, from our Extra Creamy Pesto Pasta to make this seriously more-ish snack.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15955\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/pasta-chips-blog-.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"4342\" height=\"4342\" \/>Ingredients (Serves 2):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>250g farfalle pasta<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>2 tbsp olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>1 tsp dried oregano\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>6 tbsp grated parmesan cheese<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>15g pine nuts<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>20g basil\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>50g cream cheese<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Juice of half a lemon<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>\u00bd stock cube\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method :\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Make your pasta chips:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Step 1: <\/span><span>Add the farfalle to a pot of boiled water with a pinch of salt and bring to the boil over a high heat.\u00a0 Cook for 10 minutes until al dente.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Step 2: Drain the pasta, add it to a bowl with half the olive oil and parmesan cheese, all the oregano and a large pinch of salt and pepper.\u00a0 Stir until all the pasta is coated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Step 3: Put the pasta in your airfryer, set to 180C for 10-12 minutes stirring with a spatula every 3 minutes until crisp, or in an oven for 17-20 mins at 200C.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Whilst the pasta chips are cooking make your pesto:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Step 4: Add the pine nuts to a large pot over a medium heat and cook for 2-3 min, stirring occasionally, until nicely toasted.\u00a0 Watch them like a hawk to make sure they don&#8217;t burn! Once done, transfer the toasted pine nuts to a food processor\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Step 5: Peel the garlic and add it to the food processor with the basil (save a few leaves to garnish), the rest of the grated parmesan cheese and olive oil, 2 tbsp cold water, soft cheese, lemon juice and crumble in your stock cube.\u00a0 Blitz until well combined and smooth \u2013 this is your extra creamy pesto<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Gousto Tip &#8211; for a speedy alternative mix 3 tbsp pesto with 150g cream cheese<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Step 6: Serve your pasta chips with extra creamy pesto dipping sauce and garnish with chopped basil<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>What is Gousto?<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Dinner, but not as you know it.
