In fact, it was cooked up for adventurous, sweet-toothed, chocolate-loving, creme-egg lickin\u2019 dreamers who want way more than a Cadbury\u2019s egg hunt.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve blurted out &#8220;that\u2019s me!\u201d or even nodded your head enthusiastically, you\u2019re ready to egg-sperience Scotch eggs \u2014 the Gousto way. Godspeed.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients (Makes 1)<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">30g unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">30g brown sugar<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">15g caster sugar<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u00bc tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 tbsp milk<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">55g plain flour + extra for dusting (microwave flour for 1 min 15 seconds stirring at 15 second intervals before use to steralise)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">40g chocolate chips<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Creme egg (or chocolate egg of choice)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">40g white chocolate<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">5 Biscoff biscuits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Method (2 hours)<\/h2>\n<p><b>Step 1: <\/b>Use a rubber spatula to cream the butter and sugars together. Add the vanilla extract, milk and flour, then mix until you have a smooth cookie dough. Stir in the chocolate chips, then place the bowl in the fridge for 30 mins, or until firm<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 2: <\/b>\u00a0Lightly dust your work surface and roll the cookie dough until it\u2019s 1cm thick. Then, wrap the dough around the Creme egg, pressing it together until it\u2019s formed a ball around it. Return to the fridge for 30 minutes<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 3: <\/b>Roughly chop the chocolate, and microwave it at 15 second intervals until melted. Then crush the biscuits in a bag until you get a fine crumb, and pour them onto a plate<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 4:<\/b> Remove the cookie dough ball from the fridge and coat in the melted chocolate.\u00a0 Drip off any excess chocolate, then roll in the biscuit crumb. Return to the fridge for a final 15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
