Print, then stick on something like a cereal box so you\u2019ve got a sturdy base to trace and cut out your dough.<\/p>\n<h2>What you&#8217;ll need<\/h2>\n<p>250g flour<\/p>\n<p>125g table salt<\/p>\n<p>125ml warm water<\/p>\n<p>Butter knife<\/p>\n<p>String<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Step 1: <\/strong>Preheat your oven to 150\u00baC<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>Mix the flour and salt in a bowl and, while slowly adding warm water, use a wooden spoon to combine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3: <\/strong>When stirring becomes difficult, start kneading the dough with your hands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4: <\/strong>Once it\u2019s stretchy, roll the dough onto a floured surface, about a \u00bc inch thick.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5: <\/strong>Once it&#8217;s rolled out, it&#8217;s time to get creative! Use our stencils, or grab a butter knife, and experiment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6: <\/strong>Poke patterns in with a toothpick or fork, and punch a hole in the top for string.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip:\u00a0<\/strong>Flatter shapes will bake more evenly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 7: <\/strong>Once you\u2019re happy, pop the shapes onto a lined baking sheet, and bake for 3 hours. Then remove your decorations from the oven and let them cool completely.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 8: <\/strong>Time to paint! We used acrylic paints, glitter glue and spray paint, but use whatever you\u2019ve got in the house.
