You&#8217;ll often see this zingy sauce served over steak, but why stop there? With this hack, you&#8217;ll freeze chimichurri into ice cubes so you can melt it over sizzling chicken thighs, roast potatoes or even a veggie pasta salad.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s so quick and easy, and tastes great on just about everything.<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>1-2 shallots, finely chopped<\/p>\n<p>3 garlic cloves, finely chopped<\/p>\n<p>Fresh coriander, chopped<\/p>\n<p>Fresh parsley, chopped<\/p>\n<p>Fresh oregano, chopped<\/p>\n<p>2-3 fresh jalapenos, sliced<\/p>\n<p>500 ml extra virgin olive oil<\/p>\n<p>Juice of 3 lemons<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper, to taste<\/p>\n<h2>Method<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Stir all the ingredients in a measuring jug until fully combined.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Pour your chimichurri sauce into a 14-hole ice cube tray and freeze overnight.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Whenever you fancy, pop one of your chimichurri cubes out and melt it over your favourite foods (pork chops, chicken breast, you name it!) to add some killer flavour.<\/p>\n<h2>What is Gousto?<\/h2>\n<p>Dinner, but not as you know it.
