Normally with pizza, you need to wait up to an hour before baking \u2013 but with our dough? No kneading, no waiting around, no problem.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s available to order on the menu now, but if you just can&#8217;t wait that long \u2013 here&#8217;s the full recipe so you can make it yourself.<\/p>\n<p>For your frying pan pizza, you&#8217;ll need:<\/p>\n<p>Serves 2 (double the recipe for 4)<\/p>\n<p>Cooking time: 45 minutes<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>7g fast action dried yeast<\/p>\n<p>225g strong white bread flour<\/p>\n<p>25g semolina<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp salt<\/p>\n<p>175ml warm water<\/p>\n<p>Plain flour (for dusting)<\/p>\n<p>A frying pan<\/p>\n<p>A large bowl<\/p>\n<p>A large baking tray<\/p>\n<p>A plastic or silicone spatula to mix the dough<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 1:<\/b> First, preheat your oven to 240\u00baC \/ 220\u00baC (Fan) \/ 475\u00baF \/ Gas Mark 9 and put a large baking tray in the oven to heat up. Then add your <b>yeast<\/b> to a large bowl with <b>100ml of warm water<\/b> and <b>1 tsp sugar<\/b>. Don&#8217;t worry if your dough starts to rip, just stick it back together and keep going!<\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14589\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Step-5.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Top tip: <\/b>As you shape it, dust the dough lightly with flour to stop it sticking.<\/p>\n<p>Keep going until your base is slightly smaller than a side plate (you&#8217;ll make them bigger in the pan!)<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 9: <\/b>Heat a large, dry, wide-based pan over a <b>high heat.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 10:<\/b> Once hot, carefully add the pizza base to the pan, pushing the dough out to the edge to help shape the crust.<\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14590\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Step-6a.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Top tip: <\/b>Picking up the pizza dough can be tricky (you don&#8217;t want it to rip!), so gently flip it over the back of your hand to transport it to the pan.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 11: <\/b>Dollop half of the sauce on each pizza, and spread it evenly with the back of the spoon (careful, the pan is very hot!)<\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14591\" src=\"https:\/\/gousto.gurucloud.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/Step-6b.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"601\" \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Step 12:<\/b> Cook the pizza base for <b>3-4 minutes<\/b>, or until the crust has started to puff up. Then remove the heated trays from the oven, and slide the pizzas on to the tray.<\/p>\n<p><b>Step 13: <\/b>Top your pizzas, and put the trays back in the oven for <b>12-15 minutes<\/b> or until the cheese has melted and the crust has puffed up and browned.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re officially a pizza chef (also known as a pizzaiola)!
