By the time the New Year arrives in the UK, it’s easy to think we’ve been slogging through the depths of Winter for months already. In fact, Winter doesn’t “officially” end until March 19th, so get ready for a few more months of long dark nights, frosty weather and a general sense that the world is on pause until the new season of Game of Thrones arrives.

Or maybe Winter’s your thing – maybe you love the feeling of being wrapped up in warm coats and scarves, or of being inside a toasty house while it’s freezing outside…maybe what you love about Winter is the comfort food. I don’t blame you – Winter recipes are my favourite thing about the coldest months of the year as well. The Gousto Cookbook has hundreds of great Winter dinner ideas that you can check out online, but it’s cold and you’re hungry – so I’ve picked out 7 of my favourite Winter recipes below to save you rummaging for the perfect comfort food dish. Enjoy!
