These Mediterranean Turkey Burgers and Fresh Salsa on Ciabatta are a prime example of the cooking guidelines set out by the Mediterranean diet. They’re fried in olive oil rather than butter and are enhanced with herbs and spices rather than salt.
We’ve also replaced red meat for the healthier, delicious and moist turkey mince, used lots of parsley and replaced sugary condiments with our own homemade tomato salsa. As a quick final tip: when shaping the burgers, wet your hands first as this stops the meat sticking to your palms.
