Black Pepper Spicy Tofu on Coconut Rice

Tofu is made from soy bean curd and originated in ancient China. From there, it was spread to other countries by Buddhists for whom it provides important nutrients otherwise lacking in their vegetarian diet. Tofu is very high in protein and has low carbs and fat. By itself, it has a subtle taste, but it is great at absorbing flavours from the other ingredients it’s cooked with.
