We’ll let you in on a little secret: we’ve been full of childish glee in the kitchen this week at the prospect of Halloween. What could be better for jerking us out of preliminary wintertime blues than designing a sumptuously spooky Halloween special? Well… eating it!
We’ve indulged the ghoulish side of Gousto to come up with a disgustingly delicious pasta dish of linguine in beetroot and walnut sauce (or as we’ve been calling it, minced mice) served sprinkled with pieces of roasted pear (we thought they looked a bit like severed ears!), crispy bacon and creamy goat’s cheese.
Whether you’re serving to overexcited adults or sophisticated children, this sweet and salty dish will be a welcome sugar-free option for Halloween. In fact, all things concerned, it’s hardly a horror at all.
