Jewelled Christmas Turkey Escalopes
Season’s Greetings! It’s our final menu before 2014 and we’ve arranged a little treat for everyone who (like us) is a little too keen to get cooking Christmas day. We wanted to create a recipe that was unquestionably Christmassy, but with enough of a twist that you’d never expect to see it on the table on the big day. Here’s the result…
We wanted to make sure that you got your taste of turkey this year in case you were planning something different for the big day. Our lean turkey escalopes are jeweled (not stuffed!) with walnuts and cranberries, and served with seasonal favorites Brussels sprouts and roasted chestnuts.
Instead of the traditional roasties and gravy, these potatoes are served as rosemary rösti and drizzled with a delightfully different, but unmistakably seasonal orange zest sauce.
