Scotland’s a bit of a hot topic at the moment, but one thing no one can argue with is that they know how to do breakfast! That’s why we were delighted when Chef Alice cooked up a Scottish-inspired treat in the office on Wednesday – fried porridge slices.

200g porridge oats 300ml whole milk 300ml water pinch salt pinch sugar grating of fresh nutmeg (optional)…”
