This week our chef, Henry, went on a visit to some of our producers to learn more about the wonderful organic produce that we source for your Gousto meals each week. We think it’s important when creating recipes to consider the environment that the produce grew in. The journey that food makes from field to plate is an important consideration not only environmentally, but also in considering what tastes best together! Earthy root vegetables go well with woody mushrooms, for a meatier option consider which animals tred on the ground they grow on and what eats them and arrive at pork or venison for example.
