Although more and more men are doing the cooking these days, the reality is that the kitchen gender divide is still very much alive. And it’s not just the cooking – 72% said they were responsible for most of the household cleaning…
With Mother’s Day coming up on 26th March, it’s the perfect time to say thanks to the hardworking mums who make up a large part of these women. Dads, kids, brothers and sisters, friends – let’s give mums who cook a break.
For a week, from 20th-26th March, we want to see non-mums taking over the cooking duties! Share a photo of someone who isn’t a mum doing the cooking with the #dadsdodinner hashtag (don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be a dad!) on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook for a chance to win a luxury Mother’s Day hamper from our friends at Regency Hampers (pictured below). Remember to tag @goustocooking so we know you’ve entered!
The Mother’s Day Prosecco & Flowers Luxury Pampering Set from Regency Hampers is packed with goodies to help a mother unwind, including a bottle of prosecco, quality British champagne truffles, a scented candle, heaps of indulgent bath treats and more… it’s a perfect present for a mum, so get sharing those photos!
The #dadsdodinner competition finishes at the end of Sunday 26th March.
